What business should you start here?
PostAi's mission isn't only about getting a job done at your house — it's about getting people into working for themselves. If you're wondering what kind of business could work in your neighborhood, here's how to think about it, and where PostAi fits in.
The idea
Opportunity is legible from what's already around you. What does your area already have? What does the town next door have that yours doesn't yet? Which way is growth moving?
A neighborhood that's growing fast but has no local mobile detailer, no reliable handyman, or no one doing yard cleanup for older residents has a real, findable gap — not a guess, just a question nobody's answered yet because no one's looked at their own street that way.
How PostAi helps you look
- Scouts already map local demand. Every property a scout captures, every quote generated,
every micro-job posted is a small signal about what a neighborhood actually needs done. As that map fills in, patterns start to show — categories that get requested often, areas where demand outpaces the number of people offering that service.
- The micro-jobs board and sell flow are the on-ramp. You don't need a business plan or a
storefront to start. Post what you can do, sell what you've got sitting around and don't need, claim a nearby job. Small starts are real starts.
- Custom offerings let you name your own thing. If what you'd do doesn't fit an existing
category, you can list it as your own priced offer instead of waiting for a dropdown to catch up to you.
Being honest about where this is today
PostAi is early. There isn't yet enough scout coverage or job volume in most areas to say "here's a specific gap in your zip code, backed by real numbers" — that kind of claim needs real data behind it, and making one up would be worse than not making one at all. What exists today is the idea, the on-ramps (micro-jobs, sell, custom offerings), and a platform that's built to surface real regional signal as coverage grows — not a finished recommendation engine yet.
If you're scouting, posting jobs, or listing things to sell, you're part of what makes that signal real for the next person in your area who's asking the same question you are.
Where to start
- Micro-jobs board — see what's already being asked for near you, or post your own.
- Sell flow — turn something you have into your first bit of income today.
- Become a scout — help build the map that makes "what does my area need" an
answerable question, not a guess.
