How Homeowners Use PostAi
A plain-English guide to the flyer you found on your door — and how to turn it into a real quote (and a little cash).
PostAi connects you with local contractors without the usual hassle of phone tag, in-person estimates, and pushy sales visits. If a scout left a flyer at your property, everything you need is one scan away.
The 4 steps
1. Scan
Point your phone camera at the QR code on your flyer. It opens a private page for your property — no app to install, no account required to look. The page shows the service that was quoted, a photo, and the address the scout captured.
2. Confirm
Tap to confirm the property details are correct (square footage, lot size, the basics). This helps the contractor give you an accurate price — and it credits ¢25 to your account for the 10 seconds it takes.
3. Book
Review the transparent price breakdown. PostAi shows you how the number was reached — not just a lump sum. If the price works, tap to send a booking request straight to the contractor. Acknowledging the quote credits ¢10; there's no obligation to book.
4. Earn & share
Share the flyer with a neighbor who might need the same service. When they view it, you earn ¢50 — the biggest micro-credit on the platform. Confirm-and-earn is PostAi's way of thanking you for keeping neighborhood data accurate.
Why it's different
- No surprise contractor visits. You get an estimate from a single photo. A contractor only comes out once you book.
- Transparent pricing. The "how we priced this" breakdown is always visible, so you can compare apples to apples.
- You're in control. Confirming a flyer doesn't commit you to anything. Booking is a separate, deliberate step.
- Privacy-first. Your property page is keyed to a short private ID. It isn't a public listing.
Common questions
Is it really free? Yes — getting a quote costs nothing, and confirming earns you credits.
Do I have to use the contractor on the flyer? No. The quote is a starting point. You decide whether to book.
What are the credits worth? Micro-credits accumulate in your PostAi account and can be applied toward future services. Small by design — they're a thank-you, not a payday.
